【摘要】:1.1ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodfordeterminingthein-planeshearmodulus(G12)offibre-reinforcedplasticcompositesusingastandardplatespecimen.Whenappliedtoisotropicmaterials,theshearmodulusmeasuredisindependentofdirection.1.2Themethodisusedtodeterminetheshearmodulusofthetestspecimensbutnottodeterminetheshearstrength.Itappliestoaplatesupportedontwopointsononediagonalandloadedontheotherdiagonalbythesimultaneousmovementoftwoloadingpointsattachedtoacross-beam.1.3Themethodissuitableforusewithfibre-reinforcedplasticcompositeswithboththermosetandthermoplasticmatrices.Duetothesheardeformationbeingappliedunderflexuralconditions,forlaminatedmaterialswithdifferentfibreformatsand/ordifferentorientations,thelayersofmaterialmustbewelldistributedacrossthesectionsothatitisapproximately"homogeneous"inthethrough-thicknessdirection.Theprincipalmaterialaxes,ifpresent,mustbeorientatednormaltotheplateedges(see3.8).NOTEThismethodcanbeappliedtounreinforcedpolymersandothermaterials(e.g.metals,ceramicsandmetal-orceramic-matrixcomposites).Formaterialfabricatedusingunidirectionalplies,theshearmodulusobtainedusingamultidirectionalspecimen(i.e.0~/90~/_+45~)isnotthesameasthatobtainedforunidirectionalorcross-ply(00/90~)material.1.4Themethodisperformedusingspecimenswhichmaybemouldedtothechosendimensions,machinedfromtestplatesormachinedfromflatareasofproducts.1.5Themethodspecifiespreferreddimensionsforthespecimen.Testswhicharecarriedoutonspecimensofotherdimensions,oronspecimenswhicharepreparedunderdifferentconditions,mayproduceresultswhicharenotcomparable.Otherfactors,suchasthespeedoftestingandtheconditioningofthespecimens,caninfluencetheresults.Consequently,whencomparativedataarerequired,thesefactorsmustbecarefullycontrolledandrecorded.NOTEThestress-strainresponseinshearisverynon-linearathigherstrainlevels.ThistestmethoddeterminesthemoduluswithinaIowstrainregionandisnotapplicabletohigherstrains.
