【摘要】:Corrosionfilmgrowthwiththicknessesvaryingfromamonolayerofatomsupto1x03BC;mcanreadilybemeasuredonacontinuous,real-time,in-situ,basiswithQCMs.Thetestresultsobtainedforthistestmethodareinfluencedbyvariousfactors,includinggeometricaleffects,temperature,humidity,filmthickness,filmmaterials,electrodeconditions,gasesinthecorrosionchamber,atmosphericpressure,andsoforth.Calibrationofcoatedcrystalsandinstrumentationandreproduciblecrystaloperatingconditionsarenecessaryforconsistentresults.1.1Thistestmethodmonitorsthereactivityofagaseoustestenvironmentinwhichmetalsurfaces(forexample,electricalcontacts,assembledprintedwiringboards,andsoforth)andothermaterialssubjecttopollutantgasattackundergoacceleratedatmosphericcorrosiontesting.Thistestmethodisapplicabletothegrowthofadherentcorrosionfilmswhosetotalcorrosionfilmthicknessrangesfromafewatomicmonolayerstoapproximatelyamicrometre.1.2Thetestmethodprovidesadynamic,continuous,in-situ,procedureformonitoringthecorrosionrateincorrosionchambers;theuniformityofcorrosionchambers;andthecorrosionrateondifferentsurfaces.Responsetimeintheorderofsecondsispossible.1.3Withthepropersamples,thequartzcrystalmicrobalance(QCM)testmethodcanalsobeusedtomonitortheweightlossfromasurfaceasaresultofthedesorptionofsurfacespecies(thatis,reductionofanoxideinareducingatmosphere).(AlternativenamesforQCMarequartzcrystaloscillator,piezoelectriccrystaloscillator,orthin-filmevaporationmonitor.)1.4Thistestmethodisnotsufficienttospecifythecorrosionprocessthatmaybeoccurringinachamber,sinceavarietyofpollutantgasesandenvironmentsmaycausesimilarweightgains.1.5Thistestmethodisgenerallynotapplicabletotestenvironmentsinwhichsolidorliquidparticlesaredepositedonthesurfaceofthequartzcrystal.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.ItistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtobecomefamiliarwithallhazardsincludingthoseidentifiedintheappropriateMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)forthisproduct/materialasprovidedbythemanufacturer,toestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
